1. Duck and cover
I was watching the Bulls game on Saturday. Is it safe to come out of hiding? Next time, sound the air raid siren.
2. Kid gloves
A little advice: If you don’t want to be known as the Baby Bulls, try not to get spanked.
3. Playing at Triple A
I have faith the Bulls will find the way. If they look lost again, Scott Skiles’ forehead veins will resemble a road map.
4. Landing the Rocket
Why is Roger Clemens joining the Yankees now, you might ask? It’s feeding time … for his ego.
5. Rocket fuel
And Clemens’ contract is for one year, $28 million. His ego will be eating well, I see.
6. Driving Miss Crazy
Michael Andretti had the fastest Indy 500 practice speed at 219.871 mph. Admittedly, they’ve never clocked Paris Hilton.
7. Speaking of Indy
Did you get a load of Indy rookie Milka Duno? Milka does a body
good — woof!
8. Taste the Rainbow
If Duno qualifies to join Danica Patrick and Sarah Fisher on May 27, it would be a historic day for women in racing. Racing hasn’t been this glamorous since Jeff Gordon came on the scene.
9. Back in 10
The Cubs and Sox rallied on Sunday and won in the 10th inning. Not my idea of a perfect 10, but I’ll take it.
FIVE THINGS …
… for the Bulls to avoid:
– Apple turnovers
– Trash talk
– NBA refs biased against Barry Bonds
– The Palace
– Scott Skiles, if they lose Game 2.
