Paul Ernest Tobin, our dear friend, esteemed educator, wonderful musician and beloved son of the late Ernest and Pauline Tobin of Mounds, IL, has passed into the Great Ether. Paul was an integral and inaugural member of Chicago’s Javanese Orchestra Organization, Friends of the Gamelan, as well as many Chicago music and fine art societies – a patron of all things beautiful. Remembrances of Paul are to be shared on Tuesday, May 15 at the Parlor Room of Hyde Park Union Church, 5600 S. Woodlawn from 7 to 9 p.m.
