Edwin David Flanagan, age 79, beloved husband of Janet, nee Pohlman; loving father of Kevin (Cheri), Teri and Jaynie Flanagan-Klene; cherished grandfather of Sara, Sean, Libbie and Emilie and Elisabeth Klene. He is survived by his sister Mary Schaub; fond uncle of nieces and nephews; and a dear friend to many. Retired from a lifetime career at United Airlines, member of the WWII Naval V-5 program at Notre Dame University, avid traveler and die-hard Cub fan.
