Genevieve Sikorski, nee Litoborski, age 94, of Harvey, IL, beloved wife of the late Chester; dearest mother of Dennis (the late Lois), Barbara Jean (Lloyd) Burkholder, David (Irene), Joanne (the late John) Wehr; dear grandmother of Katheryn Hess, Karyn (Charles) McCullough, Dennis James (Tammy), Laurie Jean (Manos) Kavvadias, Wendy Jo (Robert) Misirly, Roberta and the late Mary Ann, Brett Chester (Carol) Burkholder, Melissa Jean (Robert) Wermers, Linda Ann (Jeffrey) Allen, David James, Daniel Jerome, Michael (Vicki) Wehr and Gary Wehr; fond great-grandmother of 24. Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Sarah, nee Rossmann, Litoborski; sisters, Rose (Frank) Siwek, Bernice (Marion) Stamborski, Eleanor (Dee) Childs; brother Edmond (Dolores) Litoborski; and many nieces and nephews. Owner operator of Jean’s Bakery Inc., Harvey, IL, for over 50 years. Member of Ascension – St. Susanna Women’s Club. Member of numerous bakery organizations. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Albertine Home, 1501 Hoffman St., Hammond, IN 46327, where Mother resided for the past four years, receiving loving care from the sisters.
