Mary K. Rogus, nee Kocol,beloved wife of Dr. Julian Rogus; loving mother of Michael (Jen), Kenneth (Denise) and Scott (his dear friend Anne); proud grandma of Josh, Amber, and Clara; beloved daughter of Sophie and the late William Kocol; dear sister of Irene Willard, Diane Limas, Lorraine (the late Jim) Daniels, Theresa (Guenter) Kippschull, Zosia (Adolph) Candor, Edward, Charlotte, Billie, William and Tim, Walter (Mary) and the late Stanley (Flora); fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Tuley High School, in Chicago before earning both a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Library Science from Northern Illinois University. She sent more than 25 years serving the patrons of Flossmoor Public Library, Frankfort Public Library (Director of Technical Services and Director of Children Services) and Green Hills Public Library (Director of Adult Services). Mary’s greatest professional satisfaction came from working with children in both school and library settings. Mary enjoyed traveling with her husband.
