Therese E. Bruno, nee Fiske, age 76, of Chicago Heights, passed away peacefully May 30. Wife for 56 years of Michael E. Bruno; mother of Denise (Thomas) Babione, Cheryl (late Leon) Draper, Victoria (Raymond) Pettavino, Patricia (Terry) Panici, Mary (Jon) Debus, Christine (Mark) Herlin and Michael (Traci) Bruno; grandmother of 17; great-grandmother of two; daughter of the late Florence, nee Mercier, and John Fiske; sister of the late Lorraine (late Roy) Ruiter and Mary Ann Fiske; beloved aunt of many. Voted Catholic War Veteran “Lady of the Year” in 1996, Therese was past President and longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Catholic War Veterans Chicago Heights Memorial Post 1060. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks. E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights, on Friday, June 1, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. to St. Agnes Church.
