Viola Burkhart, nee Moore, 89, devoted wife to the late Jim; proud mother of Ricky Burkhart and Carolynn (William) Sheridan; dear mother-in-law of Pat Burkhart; fun-loving grandmother to Blake Burkhart, Carie Burkhart and Angela (Jason) Pierce; great-grandmother to Morgan Jane and Brighid Ann Pierce; affectionate aunt to seven nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; and 14 great-great-nieces and nephews; loving sister to Gerald (Florence) Moore and the late Geraldine (Mike) Libby. Visitation with family Saturday, June 9, 9 a.m. immediately followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Sheil Catholic Center, 2110 Sheridan Road, Evanston (parking available in all Northwestern University lots across Sheridan Road). Interment in Rhinelander, WI.
