JoAnn Rendak, nee DeNardis,of Mesa, AZ, died May 12, 2007, at the age of 66, following a courageous battle with cancer. JoAnn was born in Chicago, IL and married her husband Robert Rendak in 1963. In 1988, the couple relocated to AZ. JoAnn is survived by her husband Robert; son Art (Beth) Rendak, daughter Laura (Brent) Carreau; two granddaughters Rachel and Kiley Rendak; she is also survived by her mother Mary; sisters and brothers-in-law Arlene (Tony) Puglessi, Beverly (Tom) Lee, Marilyn and John Ansonia, and Bernie (Jim) Anderson and many nieces and nephews. JoAnn’s father, William DeNardis preceded her in death. JoAnn was an avid sports fan with a particular affinity toward the Arizona Wildcats. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007, at 10 a.m. at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Lemont. In lieu of flowers, contributions made in her name to ArizonaCancerCenter.org, Tucson, AZ or 800-327-CURE. Services were entrusted to Falconer Funeral Home,in Gilbert, AZ.
