Surprise, surprise — O.J. Simpson isn’t too fond of the media. The football-star-turned-criminal-defendant-turned-pseudo-author told Editor & Publisher magazine that he receives up to five calls a week from reporters seeking comment on everything from Paris Hilton to Pacman Jones.

But Simpson doesn’t always respond to media questions. Instead, he said, he often turns the tables on reporters and asks them why they’re not concentrating on more important news.

He said a Miami journalist recently asked him to comment on being booted from a Louisville restaurant. He reportedly told the journalist, “If you can tell me how many people died in Fallujah in Iraq yesterday, I will talk to you. He couldn’t.”
