Prince William reached a big milestone Thursday — he turned 25 and has access to part of the inheritance his mother Princess Diana left him.
The prince can now receive the interest and other income accrued on the $13 million left to him. That’s estimated to be about $500,000 to $600,000 a year, The Associated Press reports. He will have access to all of the inheritance in another five years when he turns 30. And now that he’s 25, he can marry without the consent of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Usher’s gal gushes
Usher’s fiance, Tameka Foster, denied rumors that she’s pregnant with her ex-husband’s baby. “If that were the case, the baby would have been born already,” she said to essence.com. When asked if she was pregnant with Usher’s baby, she replied: “Yes, I do plan to have children with Usher.”
MTV Trumped
Donald Trump and MTV are pairing up for a new reality show that focuses on the daily lives of Trump’s beauty pageant winners, variety.com reports. The show, titled “Pageant Place,” will follow Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA as they live together in a New York apartment. In a strange twist, Tara Conner, the former Miss USA who was sent to rehab last year, will act as den mother to the three as they adjust to their new lives.
Life goes on
You shouldn’t worry how Owen Wilson is coping after his breakup with Kate Hudson — he’s doing just fine according to pal Bruce Willis. “I think he’s doing well,” Bruce Willis said at the London premiere of his movie “Live Free or Die Hard,” people.com reports. “He’s the vagabond of Europe.” The friends caught a Rolling Stones concert in Paris on Sunday.
Ugly debate
Former House GOP leader Tom Delay called Michael Moore a “plus-sized publicity hound” who is “chicken.” Delay was upset Moore allegedly canceled their scheduled debate on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopolous,” variety.com reports. According to Delay, Moore refused to provide a copy of his new documentary, “Sicko,” so the ex-lawmaker could see it in advance of the show and then canceled without explanation.
