Two Chicago Transit Authority bus routes will be altered starting this week to make way for construction projects.
The No. 86 Narragansett/Ridgeland will be rerouted temporarily starting Wednesday because of projects in Oak Park, which will close South Boulevard between Austin Boulevard and Harvey Avenue. Buses will operate via Ridgeland Avenue, Lake Street, Austin and Washington Boulevards in Oak Park and then resume the regular route.
CTA riders can board the bus at the Pace bus stop on Ridgeland. The change will be in effect for three to four weeks.
The No. 11 Lincoln/Sedgwick will be affected from 7 a.m. Thursday to 5 p.m. Friday because of the closing of Sedgwick Street between Division Street and North Avenue for construction on the Brown Line station. Buses will operate via Sedgwick, North, Wells Street and Division, then resume the regular route.
