Keith G. Watland, 91, of Kankakee, IL. Passed away Friday, August 31, 2007 in Kankakee.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 6, 2007 atThe Bourbonnais Chapel of The Schreffler Funeral Homes.
Funeral Services will take place Friday, September 7, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, Rev. R. David Reynolds will officiate.
Burial will be in Skyline Memorial Park in Monnee, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Diabetes Association.
Mr. Watland was the owner/operator of Watlands Camera Shops, former member of The Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, “SCORE”, Kankakee Country Club where he served on the board for two years.
He was an avid photographer, he enjoyed to play golf and travel.
Surviving are his sons, Wayne (Carol) Watland of Orland Park, and Gary (Kathleen) Watland of Frankfort; his daughters, Joanne (Brian) McKibben of Naperville, and Susan (Roger) Stewart of Newton, PA; a sister, Marjorie Hibbot of Blue Island; brothers, Lester (Olga) Watland of Hazelcrest, IL and Arnold Watland of Naples, FL.; ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Christopher, Jason, Greg, Lauren, Anne, Roger Jr., Lesley and Sean and two great-grandchildren, Theodore and Quentin.
He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His wife Dorothy Watland, his parents, Andrew and Elsie Watland and a brother Vance Watland preceded him in death.
