When it’s “Nosferatu,” the 1922 silent vampire classic loosely based on Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and local indie instrumentalists Tortoise sit in to provide a live soundtrack. Six weeks into football season, it’s time for a change of Sunday scenery. Check out WestEnd Bar and Grill (1326 W. Madison St. 312-981-7100), the latest venture from the folks behind Kirkwood Bar & Grill, Schoolyard Tavern & Grill and other proven football-friendly venues. The West Loop spot, which opened its doors Oct. 6, is outfitted with 35 plasma screens, including six housed within individual booths for private viewing.
