Allen Iverson scored 33 points, Carmelo Anthony added 26 and the Nuggets beat the host Timberwolves 118-107 on Friday night.

Minnesota has lost a season-worst seven straight and is off to the worst start in franchise history at 4-28. Reserve Rashad McCants led the Timberwolves with a career-high 34 points, and Al Jefferson had 24 points and 15 rebounds.

Denver led 12-0 before the game was three minutes old and took a 61-52 lead at halftime.

*Knicks forward Zach Randolph was suspended one game without pay by the NBA for throwing his headband at a referee. He missed the game at San Antonio on Friday. Randolph was called for a foul by Tony Brothers in the Knicks’ loss to the Kings on Wednesday. Randolph threw his headband in the direction of Brothers. The NBA said in releasing the penalty that the headband hit the official.

*The trial of Pacers Jamaal Tinsley and Marquis Daniels on charges stemming from a bar fight was rescheduled for March 17 because a new prosecutor is handling the case. Tinsley was indicted on a felony charge of intimidation and misdemeanor counts of battery, disorderly conduct and intimidation in connection with a fight last February. Daniels is charged with battery and disorderly conduct.
