Bond, Bond, Bond, Bond girls, you make us feel so good. (You know you make us feel so good. You know you make us feel so good.)

Why the sudden ’90s flashback to Mase and Diddy? Because there’s a new James Bond girl set to hit the big screen.

Little-known British actress Gemma Arterton has been cast as Agent 007’s leading lady in the upcoming “Bond 22,” the planned sequel to “Casino Royale,” says The Hollywood Reporter.

(Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko also was cast, the film’s producer confirmed to eonline.com.)

Like Eva Green, who co-starred with current James Bond Daniel Craig in “Royale,” Arterton has only a few acting credits to her name, continuing, as the Reporter points out, the trend of casting relative newcomers and unknowns in the action franchise. Arterton’s only significant role so far is in the film “St. Trinian’s,” about a group of young women who save their school from bankruptcy.

Sounds like she could use some advice. Here are a few things Arterton could learn from past Bond girls.

EVA GREEN

CASINO ROYALE

Lesson: Don’t die at the end of the movie. Really hurts your chances of appearing in the sequel.

HALLE BERRY

DIE ANOTHER DAY

Lesson: Don’t let an action movie impair your ability to pick a good script when it comes time to star in your next movie. The sting of “Gothika,” “Catwoman” and “Perfect Stranger” is only now beginning to wear off for Berry.

DENISE RICHARDS

THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH

Lesson: Make sure producers pick a sensible name for your Bond girl. Denise got stuck with Christmas Jones. Could it have been any cheesier? Hanukkah Lee? Festivus Jacobs?

TERI HATCHER

TOMORROW NEVER DIES

Lesson: Again, make sure you’re given a good character name. Hatcher got Paris Carver, which sounds like the name you’d give a Beverly Hills serial killer.

FAMKE JANSSEN

GOLDENEYE

Lesson: Beware Berry’s “Catwoman” misstep, but if the right opportunity presents itself, switch over to another hit action franchise. After Janssen’s Thigh Master routine in “GoldenEye,” she landed a gig in the “X-Men” movies as Jean Grey. By “X-Men: The Last Stand,” she was a major player in the story line.
