Ryan Reynolds, will.i.am and “Friday Night Lights” star Taylor Kitsch are getting a claw deal — they all signed up to star in the new Wolverine movie.

Reynolds, currently starring in the comedy “Definitely Maybe,” is the biggest name yet to join Hugh Jackman in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” (Jackman reprises his role as furry, temperamental mutant hero Wolverine.)

For you comic book geeks out there, Variety reports that Reynolds will play Deadpool (and hopefully not be too much of a ham), will.i.am will play John Wraith (and hopefully not rap) and “Tim Riggins” will play Gambit (and hopefully keep looking hot).
