Western Illinois product Russ Michna, in his first career start, threw five touchdown passes—two to Damian Harrell—to help the Rush rout the Grand Rapids Rampage 64-35 Friday night. Michna was 18-of-26 for 245 yards, and Harrell led the Rush (2-1) in receiving with eight catches for 114 yards.

Michna filled in for Sherdrick Bonner, who was in Denver to be with his wife for the birth of their first child.

Adrian McPherson was 9 of 17 for 115 yards and ran for a touchdown for the Rampage (0-2), and backup James MacPherson was 17 of 25 for 204 yards and four touchdowns.
