Bad boy Shia LaBeouf had his day in court Wednesday — in spirit, at least.

An attorney for the “Transformers” star appeared in Burbank, Calif., to enter a plea of not guilty to a charge of unlawful smoking stemming from a February incident in California, according to tmz.com.

A $1,000 bench warrant had been issued for LaBeouf on Tuesday after neither he nor a lawyer appeared in court on the charge of lighting up where he wasn’t supposed to.

Next up for the young star of the upcoming “Indiana Jones” movie? Arraignment and pretrial hearing, scheduled for late April.
