*Student artists from Warren Township High School will be participating in the annual North Suburban Conference Art Festival from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Wauconda High School, 555 N. Main St., Wauconda. Student artists from North Chicago, Round Lake, Stevenson, Vernon Hills, Wauconda, Zion-Benton, Antioch, Grant, Lakes Community, Lake Forest, Libertyville, Lake Zurich, and Mundelein High Schools will participate. LAKE FOREST

District 67

Free educational screenings for preschool-age children who reside in District 67 will be April 18 at the Administration Center at Deer Path Middle School, 67 W. Deerpath. Children ages 3-5 who have not entered kindergarten are eligible for the preschool screening. The screenings help parents identify developmental lags in their children. *Erin Wyatt, learning center director at Highland Middle School, recently received the School Library Staff Member of the Year Award from the North Suburban Library System.
