The Chicago Transit Authority has closed two roads and interrupted service on the Yellow Line while crews replace tracks at two Skokie Swift rail crossings, authorities said Friday.

A section of Oakton Street between Skokie Boulevard and LaCrosse Avenue and a section of East Prairie Road between Mulford Street and Harvard Terrace were blocked to traffic Thursday evening and will continue to be closed until 5 a.m. Thursday, authorities said. The Yellow Line will run intermittently until 4 a.m. Monday.

The CTA will provide shuttle bus service from the Dempster Street Swift station to the Howard Street station, officials said.
