Global warming could increase illegal immigration, destabilize governments, add to terrorism and cause humanitarian disasters that would affect U.S. national security, according to projections U.S. intelligence agencies presented to a joint House committee hearing on Wednesday.

– 2025: Year there will be up to a

10 percent decline in rice and grain crops in southern and eastern Asia

– 12: Number of years in which Africa could see crops reduced by as much as half, due to increased droughts

– 50 million: Number of people who could be facing hunger by 2020
