Flying the chatty skies
Americans are split on whether airline passengers should be able to use cell phones during flights, though young adults are far more open to the idea than seniors, according to a survey released Thursday by the Department of Transportation. According to the survey:
said passengers should definitely or probably be allowed to use cell phones as long as there’s no interference with airline communications.
45% said passengers should definitely or probably not be allowed to use cell phones during flights.
47.7% of respondents aged 18 to 34 support in-flight cell phone use.
