Severino A. “Dave” DaVia, 89, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, in Chicago Heights.
Beloved brother of Velia (Leon) Smith and the late John DaVia; loving brother-in-law of Lois DaVia; cherished uncle of CarolePinson, Earl Smith, DebRosenthal and Tina DaVia; beloved great-uncle of Megan Rasmussen, Erin (Mike)Ollis, Brian Rasmussen, Kyle Smith,Heather (Eric) Johnson, Adam Rosenthal and Nicholas DaVia; loving great-great uncle of Jack and Ted Ollis and loyal childhood friend ofArthur Di Stasio.
Severino served proudly in the US Army during WWII, and was a member of the American Legion, South Chicago Post #493.
