A hip-hop mogul, fashion follower and blogger, Kanye West seems to have his hands in everything — why not puppets?
On the heels of working with the creative team behind Comedy Central’s puppet-based prank show “Crank Yankers” for his video “Champion,” West and fellow Chicago rapper Rhymefest have signed on to produce a puppet-driven pilot tentatively called “Alligator Boots” for the network, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Much like “The Muppet Show,” “Boots” will have a guest host for each episode with Kanye playing that role in the pilot. The show reportedly is being considered for the network’s 2009 schedule.
