A 15-year-old girl died after she was hit by a vehicle late Saturday in Prospect Heights.
Monika Skrzypkowski of Arlington Heights was pronounced dead in Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights at 12:07 a.m. Sunday, said a representative for the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Skrzypkowski was hit by a car as she walked near Elmhurst Road and Kenilworth Avenue.
