Have you ever worried that your car was snapped by one of those security cameras at a stop light?
That shouldn’t be your only concern when it comes to getting a ticket. Officer Paul Perkins, who works in the 9th district for the Chicago Police Department, has listed more than a dozen ways a driver can get a ticket.
* Talking on a cell phone
* Running red lights, stop lights and speeding
* No proof of registration in the car
* Not displaying a city sticker
* No proof of insurance in the car or being uninsured
* Driving without a license
* Driving with a cracked windshield or tinted windows
* Driving with a broken tail light and headlight
* Leaving the scene of an accident
* Driving past curfew.
How much will you pay? Chicago parking fines range from $25 to $200, while driving fines cost from $50 to $200.
