THIS WEEK’S CHATTERHEADS

Lynda Lopez, Prosser

Marisa Carroll, Walter Payton

Zach Aries, Walter Payton

Rob Garcia, Chicago Ag

MODERATOR: It’s Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Arizona

Cardinals in the Super Bowl. Who wins and why?

Lynda: The Pittsburgh Steelers are made of steel. Can’t beat that. Except maybe Iron Man.

Marisa: In lieu of Chicago’s recent weather, I think it’s fair to say that Arizona always wins.

Zach: The Steelers. Experience: The Cardinals have never been in a Super Bowl, and the Steelers have won it five times.

Rob: Arizona. Because I just admitted that offense is the only thing people care for anymore.

MODERATOR: What’s the main difference between

SoxFest and the Cubs Convention?

Lynda: Hmm. This is much like the question about the difference between “Twilight” and “Harry Potter,” I never know how to answer.

Marisa: The same as the main difference between the Sox and the Cubs: Three years of waiting vs. 100 years of washouts.

Zach: People actually show up at the Cubs Convention.

Rob: Different levels of depression.

MODERATOR: Bartolo Colon returns to the White

Sox after last pitching for them in 2003. What has

changed since then?

Lynda: What hasn’t changed since then might be a better question. Hmm.

Marisa: Our governor, the ozone, the economy … Oh, do you mean athletic things?

Zach: Certainly not his weight.

Rob: I refuse to remember anything before 2005.

MODERATOR: What’s the last athletic thing you’ve

done lately?

Lynda: I did sprint over to the kitchen when I smelled what my mother had cooked. Mmm.

Marisa: I would consider navigating the slush-filled streets of Chicago an Olympic event in itself.

Zach: Caught pitchers on Thursday. Nothing like getting beaten up by tons of wild pitches.

Rob: Crawling out of bed this morning.
