The Twitterverse had a lot to say about “Watchmen” this week — in under 140 characters to be exact. If you want to review a movie for RedEye on Twitter, just sign up at twitter.com/redeyechicago and send us a tweet (message). Please limit them to ones still in theaters.
@Thatgeekychick2 Awesome movie. Part comedy, action, drama, fantasy, and soft core porn. What else do you need? 🙂
@red_velvet_rose Rorschach totally rocks; sounds a bit like Batman. Dr. Manhattan’s “junior” was only distracting at first.
@scasta86 Watchmen was great with cinematography and special fx But I haven’t read the book so I was lost and confused by the story.
@neema5 Great IMAX visuals, some great dialog, great background of characters, but its a very long and slow buildup. B+
@ErnestWilkins The only time you should read the book before the movie comes out. And after. And during.
@GoodyGoody watchmen … not worth the watch man!
@sajaro Three hours of my life I will never ever get back.
@dancampbell1787 Watchmen was unbelievable! a lot of dialogue which was a pleasant surprise, and the action scenes were amazing!
@evagracet 3 stars for shine for “The Watchmen.” + Effects, cinematography. – Acting, cheesy dialog, soundtrack.
Early scoop
@jktv Saw an advanced screening of Sunshine Cleaning this week — it’s nothing like the preview, a lot more dark but I liked it!
(“Sunshine Cleaning” opens March 20.)
