Trailing 2-0 in the opener, Bartlett scored a run in the fifth and two in the sixth for the one-run victory. Game 2 was not nearly as close as Bartlett scored six second-inning runs and pounded out 11 hits en route to the rout.

In Game 2, winning pitcher Emilie Kerman (7 IP, 4 hits, 2 earned runs, 9 strikeouts) helped her cause with two doubles and an RBI and Demetriou had another hit and scored two runs for D-C. Scout Scanlon had two hits, including a double, and scored two runs for Wheeling.
