Rangers 5, Athletics 2 (Gm2): Scott Feldman (4-0) gave up two runs, struck out two and walked three to help the Rangers win for the sixth time in eight games.
Orioles 7, Tigers 2: Luke Scott extended his recent power surge with a grand slam and a solo shot. Catcher Matt Wieters, went 0-for-4 in his ML debut. Blue
Jays 6, Red Sox 3: Jays snapped a nine-game losing streak with a five-run fifth. Rod Barajas and Scott Rolen each drove in a pair.
Rays 5, Twins 3: Evan Longoria and Carl Crawford homered to snap a season-high five-game losing streak. James Shields’ first win since May 3.
White Sox 11, Royals 2: Alexei Ramirez, Jermaine Dye, Paul Konerko and Josh Fields each drove in a pair to support Clayton Richard, who pitched seven innings and struck out seven.
Yankees 3, Indians 1: Andy Pettitte left the game in the sixth inning with an apparent injury and a 3-0 lead. Pettitte still picked up the win to improve to 5-1.
Mariners at Angels: Jason Vargas will try to extend his impressive start to the season. He’s 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA in 21 innings worked.
NATIONAL LEAGUE
Cubs 2, Dodgers 1: Koyie Hill homered and Kosuke Fukudome hit a tiebreaking sacrifice fly in the seventh inning to end the Dodgers’ four-game win streak.
Astros 6, Pirates 1: Brian Moehler pitched a complete game, his first since 1999, and rookie Edwin Maysonet homered and went 4-for-4 with four RBIs.
Phillies 5, Nationals 4: Shane Victorino had four hits as the Phillies tied a season high with 16. Jimmy Rollins had two RBIs.
Brewers 3, Reds 2: Prince Fielder hit a two-run homer and Corey Hart added a solo shot. Trevor Hoffman picked up his 12th save.
Mets 2, Marlins 1: Omir Santos singled in Gary Sheffield with the winning run in the bottom of the 11th. Santos also homered for the other Mets run.
Rockies 3, Padres 0: Jason Marquis (7-3) went eight shutout innings before giving way to Huston Street for his eighth save.
Braves at D’backs, late: Jon Garland allowed nine runs, eight earned in just 2 2/3 innings Friday and left trailing 9-1.
Cardinals at Giants, late: Giants starter Matt Cain has gone at least six innings in each of his last nine starts.
