Variety reports Ridley Scott has signed on with Twentieth Century Fox to direct a prequel to “Alien,” the 1979 film that starred Sigourney Weaver. … Seth Rogen is calling Katherine Heigl out. After the “Knocked Up” actress knocked that movie for “painting women as shrews,” Rogen said on Howard Stern’s SIRIUS XM radio show that Heigl’s new comedy, “The Ugly Truth,” doesn’t make women look any better. “That [movie] looks like it really puts women on a pedestal in a beautiful way,” he quipped. … Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt are back together, Usmagazine.com reported Friday.
