A Cook County judge Saturday set bail at $350,000 for a Cicero man authorities say is a serial flasher who startles girls by jumping in front of them while naked.
Gustavo Alvarez, 31, of the 1600 block of South 49th Avenue , was charged late Friday with three counts of sexual exploitation and disorderly conduct and lewd exposure in three separate cases.
Three 12-year-old girls were walking in the 6300 block of North Indian Road in the Norwood Park neighborhood on July 29 when a man drove by in a car. He parked and jumped out not wearing any clothes, prosecutors said.
“Then he raised both hands in the air and smiled at the girls,” Assistant State’s Atty. Marilyn Alioto said. “The victims were afraid.” They ran to one girl’s house and her mother called the police.
In another case, Alvarez was charged with public indecency/lewd exposure for jumping out of an alley with no clothes on in front of a 48-year-old woman on Monday.
