When rookie James Johnson hit the game-winning shot in the Bulls’ victory over the Utah Jazz in London on Tuesday, his teammates looked as if they were more excited than he was.
Perhaps that’s a good thing, especially if Johnson continues his hot-shooting ways. He just might wear himself out celebrating.
Johnson finished the game with 18 points and eight rebounds. It was only his second career game — yes, it was preseason — but he’s already looking like a solid addition to a team that made the playoffs last season.
Johnson is not alone in being a promising young star in Chicago. He’s got company in players such as Devin Hester, Johnny Knox, Patrick Kane and a host of others.
