“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” nearly got taken down by a hit from “The Blind Side” in the weekend box-office fight. “Moon” claimed first place with $42.5 million, but “The Blind Side” made it interesting, taking $40.1 million. The two movies propelled Hollywood to record revenues of an estimated $278 million over the five-day holiday.
