To the Ashlee Simpsons of the world: Pink has some unwelcome news for you.
Following her breathtaking aerial performance at Sunday night’s Grammys, “I would say that no one ever has another excuse to lip sync,” Pink joked to People.com.
Pink, after all, managed to sing “Glitter in the Air” while spinning like a compass needle high above the Staples Center stage in Los Angeles. She admitted, however, that the lights above her during the performance made her dizzy, and “I thought … I was going to fall on my nude butt” after being lowered back to the ground.
The athletically demanding performance was part of the singer’s touring show. And now that she’s done with the tour? “I’m going to go home and cook and get fat.”
