Obsessive fans of Jim Henson’s “Labyrinth” and “The Dark Crystal” will surely be familiar with the names Brian and Wendy Froud. The husband-and-wife duo helped create the distinct look of both films with Brian serving as conceptual designer and Wendy sculpting the creatures seen on-screen. The fantasy artists will stop in Downers Grove to discuss their latest collaboration, “The Heart of the Faerie Oracle.” The elaborate box set features 68 oracle cards showcasing Brian’s fanciful illustrations, and a companion book instructing readers how to decipher the cards for their own relationship building within the context of the Faerie world.
