Bond for a former Streamwood man was set at $750,000 last week after he was charged as the second suspect in the 2008 shooting death of a 19-year-old Hoffman Estates man.

Clinton Johnson, 23, formerly of the 100 block of Crestwood Drive and currently a member of the Marine Corps, was charged in the murder of Joseph Ziegler. Johnson was arrested while based at the Marine Corps air station in Cherry Point, N.C.

Another suspect, Matthew Zucco, 21, of Hanover Park, was arrested in April and is being held without bond on charges that he pulled the trigger.

Johnson is due back in court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday.
