I am writing in regards to Manya Brachear’s Feb. 8th article regarding hospitals offering to help women who want to halt their abortions (“

“). The response from the abortion providers regarding this procedure for women who change their mind during the process of an abortion seems illogical at best. The abortion providers worry that this procedure may be a risk to the pregnancy as opposed to the abortion itself which kills the unborn child with little uncertainty. This procedure without a doubt increases the odds for that unborn child to live. Stopping this makes as much sense as not performing a life-saving procedure for a cancer patient because they may still die of cancer.
