Regarding a shutdown in government services if the parties cannot agree on a budget, would we really feel a loss if they shut down? Government is the most bloated, inefficient steward of our tax dollars; they don’t seem to pay half their bills … remind me again why it would be bad if the government shut down? Maybe we’d get to see how little we need from them if all they did was protect our security. Might be an exercise in clarity!
