Tuesday is National Library Workers Day, which is always the Tuesday of this, National Library Week. And we can all agree their credit is long overdue.

Power tool demonstrations aside, this week is Sex Week at Northwestern. “Sex Week is about learning about sex in a public forum in order to make informed decisions between you and your own sex life and sexuality,” Nicole Collins, executive director of Sex Week, told The Daily Northwestern.
No such luck at the similarly stressed U. of C., where this week it’s just Animal Law Week.

Years of probation for Steven Cowan of Wisconsin on charges of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and negligently handling a weapon in the November shooting of his television, an attack authorities said was prompted by Bristol Palin’s appearance on “Dancing with the Stars.” A charge of second-degree reckless endangerment was dismissed.
