A 28-year-old man was shot in the head Sunday evening in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, police said.
The man was shot near his ear just after 8 p.m. on the 5000 block of South Ada Street, according to Police News Affairs Officer Phillip Armstrong. He was transported to Stroger Hospital in stable condition.
No further details were available.
