Grant Park Music Festival: Principal conductor (and recently named artistic director) Carlos Kalmar leads the Grant Park Orchestra in the opening concert of the 77th free outdoor classical music festival, one of the best summer bargains to be found anywhere in the country, at a spectacular venue in the heart of the city.
