The Chicago White Sox were 1-for-6 with runners in scoring position after the first inning of Monday’s 6-3 loss to the Cubs, and manager Ozzie Guillen is becoming more concerned with the Sox’s inability to drive in runners from third base with less than two out.

Saturday, Guillen cited this deficiency as the main weakness that concerned him. The Sox are batting only .175 (7-for-40) with runners in scoring position in their past six games (2-4). Over the season, the Sox are batting only .223 with runners in scoring position and two outs.

The biggest culprits in the latter category are Alex Rios (.087), Adam Dunn (.111), A.J. Pierzynski (.147) and Gordon Beckham (.194).

With the bases loaded and two out, the Sox are batting .259.
