Philip Humber is tentatively scheduled to rejoin the Chicago White Sox’s rotation on Monday, when he and rookie Zach Stewart each will start games of a split doubleheader at Minnesota.

Humber is likely to stay in the rotation, as manager Ozzie Guillen is hesitant to consider a four-man rotation right now.

Guillen was less committed to defining how the playing time will be set up when catcher A.J. Pierzynski returns from the 15-day disabled list on Friday with rookie Tyler Flowers batting .267 with two home runs and the Sox posting a 11-6 record with Flowers behind the plate.

“Tyler is playing great,” Guillen said after a long pause. “Very good. When A.J. gets here, we’ll figure out how we play them. I don’t know if A.J. isn’t playing. I really like the way Tyler is behind the plate right now.”

Meanwhile, right fielder Carlos Quentin resumed swinging a bat but wasn’t sure if he’ll be ready to return from the DL on Monday. Quentin is recovering from a sprain of the AC joint in his left shoulder.
