What a nice Chicago Flashback! I must say that as a conservative Republican (leaning libertarian), Rahm Emanuel’s (and Toni Preckwinkle’s) greatest accomplishment is helping convince people that not all Democrats are bad.
I first feared Emanuel’s purchase of the Chicago mayoralty, but now I do really appreciate his leadership. I live in the suburbs out of fear of the Chicago Public Schools, so he has his work cut out for him and I wish him the best in this critical responsibility. May your best 100 days lie ahead.
