Chicago rapper Common’s latest verses were penned for a book, and he is in town promoting his new memoir, “One Day It’ll All Make Sense.” But, he’ll also pick up the mic to perform for Trinity United Church of Christ’s “Music to Stir Your Soul” concert. Gospel singer Richard Smallwood also performs.
Why go: Common talking about his memoir is interesting, but hearing him perform his music is really what fans want.
