A 43-year-old masseuse has been charged with misdemeanor prostitution after Evanston police allege she agreed to perform a sex act in exchange for money.

After receiving community complaints, an undercover officer visited a massage business in the 1900 block of Howard Street at about 3 p.m. April 4, police said.

The officer approached a masseuse, identified by police as Haihua Zhang, and an agreement was made to perform a sex act in exchange for money, police said.
