ARLINGTON, Texas — The Chicago White Sox face the two-time defending American League champion Texas Rangers and nemesis Colby Lewis in Friday’s season opener.
Lewis has limited the current Sox’s batters to a .214 batting average. A.J. Pierzynski has the highest batting average among his teammates against Lewis with a .333 mark (5-for-15), while Gordon Beckham is 1-for-6 (.167) and Adam Dunn (0-for-4) have struggled.
