JUBA, April 15 (Reuters) – A South Sudanese government

official on Sunday said Sudan was bombing facilities at the

disputed Heglig oilfield and causing heavy damage after South

Sudanese troops took control of the region on Tuesday.

“They are bombing the central processing facility and the

tanks to rubble as we speak,” South Sudan’s Information Minister

Barnaba Marial Benjamin told reporters in Juba.

There was no immediate comment from Sudanese officials.
