F Ivan Johnson is back in the good graces after being sent home for conduct detrimental to the team before Friday night’s win over Orlando. He bounced back with 14 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
F Josh Smith was the lone bright spot in the starting five for the Hawks. His 26 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks was indicative of the type of night (and season) he’s had. For the most part, Smith has been the Hawks’ best player this season. And it’s not really close.
G Willie Green was the only other player on the roster to reach double figures against the Raptors, scoring 14 points off the bench in just 20 minutes of action. Green, as has often been the case this season, was the picture of efficiency. Too bad some of his other teammates couldn’t follow suit.
